Welcome to The Pink Elephant Restaurant
Wonderful restaurant right on the coast & the Wild Atlantic Way, close to Kinsale.
Superb cuisine, specialising in West Cork local meats and seafood. Magical Atlantic views
over Courtmacsherry Bay. Patio for outside dining, extensive lawns and private parking.
A warm welcome, delicious dining and superb scenery awaits at The Pink Elephant.
We reopen on Thursday 10th June.
Outdoor dining only to start, hopefully adding indoor from 5th July.
For the outdoor phase we will offer a simpler menu, to suit the more casual atmosphere.
Clearly we may also sometimes be limited by the weather.
Availability is limited, so please give us a call in advance to reserve your table.
We have the luxury of space, as well as a large outside area. This makes it easier for us to operate social distancing, and other recommended measures to ensure safety of customers and staff. Our capacity is reduced, so we recommend making reservations in advance. We are open for meals, but not standalone drinks. Customers are required to wear face-masks except when seated at their table. A maximum of 6 adults is allowed at each table.
The Story of
The Pink Elephant has been a restaurant since 1960.
The building itself is very much older, being one of the oldest houses around.
It is set on a spectacular site overlooking Courtmacsherry Bay just at the point where the Kilbrittain and Argideen estuaries merge to enter the Atlantic Ocean.
