Opening this month:
Re-opening Saturday 11th February.
From Monday 9th January, we are taking our annual break and will be closed until 11th February. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we look forward to seeing you on our return.
We will answer the phone and emails while closed, so do get in touch with any enquiries.

We host all types of events, from small gatherings, parties, christenings and especially weddings. And if you are looking for good accommodation there is plenty very close by. Locals and visitors alike have enjoyed The Pink for many years.

The story of The Pink
The Pink Elephant has been a restaurant and bar for over 50 years. The building itself is much older, being one of the oldest houses around. It is set on a spectacular site overlooking Courtmacsherry Bay just at the point where the Kilbrittain and Argideen estuaries meet to enter the Atlantic Ocean.
If you had been in The Pink in May 1915 you would have had a grandstand view of the Lusitania as it was torpedoed and sunk a few miles offshore. More recently you could have seen a 60 foot fin whale that beached just along the coast.
The building was recently refubished giving the bar and dining room the best of the wonderful views.
