A year later and I am still thinking of “The Pink Elephant”. The host Jeremy, was so welcoming. He made me the best Vodka Martini in Ireland which is hard to come by. And the waiter…..I have never laughed so much during one dinner out. He was top notch – Charming and Funny! The food was our top meal in Ireland by far. It was a great night, nice views and great laughs. Thank you for the memories. The Popek’s – Pennsylvania, USA

Want a romantic dinner? Or an amazing family memory? The Pink will not let you down. The view (unbelievable), food (delicious) and friendly service is wonderful. "Hands down our best dining experience on our trip". Our first visit was for the Sunday lunch, with our family including 4yr old and 10yr old and our extended family. It was such a fabulous experience we went back for mid-week lunch and a couple drinks after shopping in Kinsale to celebrate our amazing trip to Ireland before we flew home. We were recommended the pink elephant by Eileen who owns Seafield farm where we were staying and we were so glad she did !! We had a delicious meal and were thoroughly entertained and looked after by the friendly staff. I loved the fact that the menu was on a chalk board and guided by whatever fresh ingredients were available on the day . Yes its a little pricey but worth every penny and the stunning view across the bay is worth millions .... We will be back !! CL, Essex UK

My wife and I were recommended to have our anniversary meal here whilst on holiday and we were not disappointed at all. The restaurant has a fantastic view of the bay and the two owners were great. A unique restaurant from entering to leaving. Nothing is too much trouble. Service is fabulous and the food was heavenly - even our desserts came out with HAPPY ANNIVERSARY on them. Best restaurant ever visited! My partner and I have come here for several years now, at least twice a year. We have brought friends and family also. Everytime we have been greeted with the same warmth as if entering a family home. The service, food and wine are first-rate, whatever the palate. My partner is coeliac and, in contrast to other restaurants, the staff always go out of their way to accomodate his needs. DB, Cork Ireland

Don't miss this gem! It's tucked in no-where-land but this little gem is delightful. Host is very personable and welcoming, giving personal attention as though a guest in his home. Food was best we had during our 2 weeks in Ireland. We purposefully returned a second night for all of the above. CL, Virginia USA

Good food, warm welcome, stunning view. Returned to the Pink Elephant to find it as lovely as ever. Welcoming and interesting owner, attentive and really nice waitresses and the food was brilliant. This is the only place I have visited in Ireland where they actually produce a good risotto, it was better than the last one I ate in Milan. However, what really makes the visit is the beautiful view. It is worth the drive (also gorgeous) from Kinsale to Kilbrittain to experience this restaurant, it is also superior to anything that Kinsale has to offer. B, Croydon UK
